Forever Captain Poodaman! The Ahmad Butler Foundation (ABF) is a nonprofit charitable foundation with a mission to support children with cancer and other life threatening diseases, while aiding in the improvement of their quality of life.

Our deep understanding of the challenges families will experience when their child is diagnosed with a life threatening disease, enables us to anticipate the financial, educational, and emotional gaps they will encounter. Therefore, ABF builds structures around these families through our programs and events that provide shelter for them during and beyond their child’s storm. 

We do this by: 

• Providing tools to allow children to continue receiving a QUALITY EDUCATION while hospitalized or during at home recovery 
• Connecting families with emergency financial assistance grants for unexpected or uncovered medical expenses 
• Connect families with supportive groups (including other coping families) and therapist to help address their mental, emotional, and familial therapy needs
• Host programs that creates “WONDERFUL DISTRACTIONS” for families we serve giving them a sense of normalcy
• Work with children’s hospitals throughout the USA, to learn of their needs and help to fill them, enabling them to better serve their patients and families
