The ABF Digital Learning Program
ABF’s Digital Learning Program, which has gained national coverage (see video below), is not just a one-time initiative. It’s an ongoing program that will continue to ensure that every hospital treating children has the equipment and devices needed to operate a successful remote learning program. This commitment to continuity reassures us that seriously ill children will always have access to quality education, regardless of being hospitalized or during at-home recovery. We are grateful for the donations we receive that make this sustained effort possible. If you would like to support ABF’s Digital Learning Program, please click here
Through this program our Foundation will give Captain Poodaman Computer Charging Carts stocked with Chromebooks to 154 children’s hospitals in the United State to support their in house remote learning programs. In addition, we will give personal computers to 15,400 seriously ill children in need, being treated at these hospitals. Ensuring their ability to continue to receive a QUALITY EDUCATION during the times when they are not sick enough to be hospitalized but not well enough to physically attend school.

Testimonials
Classroom technology has never been more vital than it is today. With many school districts throughout the world moving to virtual formats or a combination of virtual and in-person learning, RMHC is proud to be partnering with ABF to ensure that students utilizing our classroom have the necessary technology to succeed in their lessons. We look forward to receiving donations of Chromebooks or similar tablets for our guests to utilize. We understand all too well that childhood cancer and serious diagnoses do not stop as the world faces a pandemic. Because of this, the families we serve need our support now more than ever before. RMHC Philly is honored to partner with ABF to provide families with technology to aid in their children’s education as well as to easily connect with their loved ones back home. Sincerely,
Ann Chapkin Meekins, MSW, LSW Oncology Social Worker St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children
Love Of Learning Program
The Love of Learning Program is a component of ABF’s Digital Learning Program. The Digital Learning Program donates brand new touch screen Chromebooks or laptops in computer carts to children’s hospitals throughout the USA to support their remote learning programs. Allowing children to continue to receive a quality education while hospitalized.
The Love of Learning Program donates laptops to seriously ill children in need to allow them to continue to receive a quality education during at-home recovery. Our foundation understands that children do not want to fail in school simply because they are sick. We also know that while trying to save a child’s life, their education is the last thing Doctors and parents consider. Therefore, it is our pleasure to be able to have events like this one to fill this educational gap while creating a “WONDERFUL DISTRACTION” for the Superhero Kids and their families.(photo gallery)
