Celebrate Pooday!

National Ahmad “Captain Poodaman” Butler Day also known as Pooday. Pooday is our annual celebration. A day  to come together to celebrate, honor, and encourage Superhero Kids that are battling cancer and other life threatening diseases. Because too many of the children we serve will NOT get the chance to celebrate life’s milestones such as graduation, prom, wedding, etc. Pooday is meant to be their “BIG DAY”. Pooday celebrations are held at kid friendly venues, and is a  FREE invitation only event where Superhero Kids are celebrated and awarded certificates of achievement and medals of bravery to encourage them during their battle. They are Draped with Superhero Kid on Deck capes by their loving parents, also celebrated and encouraged during the Superhero Kid Parade. Poodapalooza is the game segment of  Pooday. Which allows participants to play fun games for prizes to amusement parks, museums, aquariums, family entertainment centers, restaurants and more. "This weekend I had a cool moment at the annual Pooday Celebration with theForever Captain Poodaman The Ahmad Butler Foundation. While walking around I spotted this guy and he started to wave to me. So I started to walk over and he turned around to the table looking for something. As I got closer he turned back and waved and then turned back to the table. His mom looked up and said, “he’s looking for something. He wants to give you a lollipop.” “Cool!”, I replied,” that’s awesome!”. So he found this lollipop and handed it to me and turned to look at his mom. I reached to my wrist and got one of the Spidey gel bands I carry around to hand out. Tapped him on the shoulder and handed him the gel band. “Thanks little hero!”, I said. And he smiled back. It’s moment like this, man. I’d say mission accomplished." -Delco Spiderman
